  1. From the album: Events & Conventions

Melissa (our CMN rep, 2nd from the left) was kind enough to schedule a tour of SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital for guild members. The tour was fantastic, and served as a great reminder of the great work that Children's Miracle Network does day in and day out. Thanks for putting this together Melissa!
  2. The Extra Life STL Discord server is now live! Click this link to access the server: https://discord.gg/012lTiJ9fOmBVSzG7 For those who are unfamiliar, "Discord is a free voice and text chat app designed specifically for gaming" (https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/204229718-What-is-Discord-). If you click the link to the Discord server (https://discord.gg/012lTiJ9fOmBVSzG7), it should bring you to a page that will let you access the Extra Life STL server. If you already have a Discord account then you should be in good shape, but if not it should walk you through the process of creating an account. Note that there is a desktop application version of Discord which does offer some extra functionality, but the web application should get you what you need, so you don't need to install anything on your computer unless you want to. Of course joining the Discord server is completely optional, and for now is just something that we're trying out, but if its well-received then it could end up being very beneficial for us. We agreed that the server should be open for anyone to join (meaning not just guild members), so feel free to forward the invite link out to anyone who you think might be interested. If you do choose to join, be sure to introduce yourself in the #introductions channel so that I can add you to the Guild Members role, which gets you access to the #guildmembers channel. Can't wait to see you in there!

    STL ToyMan Show

    until
For those who have never heard of the ToyMan Toy Show, it is a bi-monthly exhibition for local toy merchants and collectors to showcase their wares and, in the case of merchants, offer sales and trades. Admission is typically $5 but will be free for volunteers who would like to help out with the Extra Life table that we'll have set up. I plan on showing up around 8:00 am to check in and set up our table, but any additional volunteers from that point onward would be greatly appreciated. If you're interested in helping out, let me know what time you think you'd be available. http://www.toymanshow.com/
