In order to better organize, improve communication with Guild Members, and streamline scheduling and staffing for events, we will be using timecounts.org as a volunteer coordination tool. If you would like to participate with the Extra Life Baltimore Guild as a volunteer, or would like priority consideration for limited social events and convention access, please fill out the 2019 Extra Life Baltimore Guild Application. FAQ I already filled out a paper application at a recent Guild Meeting. Do I also need to complete the digital application? No. If you indicated you were interested in becoming part of Guild Leadership or serving on a committee, you may be asked to answer some additional questions via a separate application. Otherwise, the information you provided on your paper application has been entered by a Guild Leader, and you will receive an e-mail with instructions. Do I need to sign up for a timecounts.org account? It is suggested, but not required. If you do, you'll have a better experience signing up for specific opportunities and events. Ok, I created an account. How do I review and sign up for upcoming meetings, social events, and request a volunteer shift at a convention/event? There will be a brief training on how to use the site at our upcoming March Guild Meeting, and we may create some additional walkthrough materials that will be updated to this post as attachments in the future. In the meantime, feel free to message @Sarah here or in Discord and she will be happy to walk you through it.

Hey everyone! A few people expressed interest in playing DnD as a guild activity. I'm willing to create and lead a campaign for everyone and just wanted to gauge interest and get a feel for how many players there would be. Ideally, I would be looking for a group of 4-6 players. If you are interested and feel intimidated FEAR NOT! I am welcoming to new players and will help you learn how to play and navigate on roll20. You will need a few things though. You will need a Roll20 account and I recommend playing through the tutorial to familiarize yourself with the program: https://roll20.net/ You will need a basic understanding of the DnD 5e rules and an idea of what race/class you would like to play: https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules And you will also need Discord as it will be our primary way to communicate. In my discord server I have a channel specifically for the sharing of DnD materials and Ideas, Feel free to stop in: https://discord.gg/w3Wdtuj And if you are curious as to what a typical game of DnD looks like, you can see some of our other online campaigns here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist… (shameless begging to like/comment/subscribe here kappa) If you have any questions, I am usually hanging out in the discord link provided. Once I get an idea for the number of players I'll start working on the campaign and set a date. Be talking to you guys soon!
