Can you believe that Game Day has already come and gone? Is everybody still sleeping after gaming for 25 solid hours?! At this month's meeting, we'll chat about our unofficial Extra Life 2016 totals, what worked and what didn't for everybody's marathons, and plan our 2016 Holiday Party! Main Hours: Friday, May 13, 2016: 2:30 pm – 8:00 pm Saturday, May 14, 2016: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Sunday, May 15, 2016: 10:30 am – 5:00 pm Location: EY Centre 4899 Uplands Dr., near the airport Additional Information: Our booth will be a taste of what we're planning for our Extra Life Marathon at the CHEO Telethon - so bring a friend, put up your feet, and play a game with us! If you haven't gotten around to registering for Extra Life 2016, now is your chance. Looking for a way to help out? We're always looking for volunteers to get involved! untilWhere did the time go?! The days are getting shorter, hibernation is looking like a better option each day (is that just me?), and 2015 is coming to a close. There are only 3 weeks left in the year, which means 3 weeks left to bring in donations from those friends and family that said they'd donate "next week"! We hope you can all make it out to our December guild meeting - we'll discuss how the year went, changes you'd like to see for next year, and what you enjoyed most! This is our last meeting of the year, so we have lots of goodies planned to make it memorable! untilThe Extra Life Ottawa Guild will be running a booth at Capital Gaming Expo! Stop by and say hello - We'll be at booth 805 in the main room! Our Extra Life booth will be participating in this year's Geek Quest scavenger hunt - if you hope to complete the hardest gaming difficulty, stop on by and try your hand at some fast-paced mini-games! We'll be handing out fliers and signing up new participants. Convention is open from 10:00 - 23:00 on Saturday, and again from 10:00 - 17:00 on Sunday. Volunteer opportunities are available!

untilHoly moly, there's only 6 weeks left until Game Day! Its time to buckle down, and see how we're doing as a community! At this meeting, we'll touch on our recruitment goals, current levels of fundraising, and local Game Day events. We'll also be looking for volunteers for our next event - Capital Gaming Expo! The meeting will take place on: Date: Tuesday, September 29th Time: 7:00pm Location: Ottawa Public Library, Main Branch 120 Metcalfe Street Ottawa, ON K1P 5M2 Special Instructions: The meeting will be in room B125. After entering the Library entryway, turn away from the main Library Hall and follow the signs to the downstairs meeting rooms. Once on lower level, turn right and the meeting room will be through the double doors. Agenda will be provided to all members through a forum post, at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
