    PewDiePie Joins MLG.tv

    Starting tonight at 7pm ET, episodes of BroKen, a podcast created by Felix "PewDiePie" Kjellberg and his friend CinnamonToastKen, will begin airing on Major League Gaming's streaming service. The podcast will be available on MLG.tv and going forward it will appear there first before making its way to other services. Viewers will be able to interact with the stream via Twitter by following @MLG and using #BroKen or by using the new chat system that MLG has recently introduced. "We’re excited to introduce PewDiePie to the MLG.tv network as we continue to deliver exclusive content from the best producers in the world,” said Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt, MLG's VP of programming. “Our vision for MLG.tv is to make it the home for premium content and producers like PewDiePie and his show ‘BroKen.’ This type of programming deal with PewDiePie, one of the biggest stars in digital media, is a great example of the premier talent we have joining the growing MLG.tv line-up."

  3. Major League Gaming is partnering with Lai Fung Holdings Limited and eSun Holdings Limited to construct the first-ever MLG Arena on Hengqin Island in China. The MLG facility will be located in the middle of an area called V-Zone, a space dedicated to video games featuring facilities like an expo area for game developers to reveal new and upcoming games, creative workspaces, gaming-themed restaurants, retail shops and more. “MLG has been at the forefront of the global eSports phenomenon for over a decade and we’re taking our leadership position to new heights with this expansion into the world’s fastest growing eSports market – China,” said Mike Sepso, president and co-founder of Major League Gaming.   5. Next week from November 22-24 Major League Gaming is hold their season ending championship tournaments and expects it to be the largest event in their 11 year history. With an ever-increasing prize-pool, currently worth approximately $150,000 and expected to increase drastically as the tournament nears, dozens of the world's leading players will descend on Columbus, Ohio to battle in Call of Duty: Ghosts and Dota 2. Ghosts will be played in an official tournament for the first time and the Dota 2 event will be the largest since Valve's own tournament, The International 3. Additionally, fans that purchase digital tickets for the Dota 2 tournament will be directly contributing to the the tourney prize-pool. Call of Duty will be featured on two streams commentated by veterans Chris “Puckett,” Ryan “Fwiz” Wyatt, John “Revan” Boble, Benjamin “Benson” Bowe, and Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez. Dota 2 will be on three streams, plus free in-game viewing commentated by David “LD” Gorman, David “Godz” Parker, Ben “Merlini” Wu, and David “Luminous” Zhang. The competition will be broadcast in HD on the MLG site beginning Friday, November 22 beginning at 5pm ET with five streams showcasing the tournament.
