  1. Space is a pretty dangerous place. One wrong button press, one miscalculated trajectory and you could find yourself floating home. Sleepless Clinic's Symmetry wants to explore that bone-chilling scenario. Players manage a crew of space scientists as they struggle to survive after a catastrophic crash-landing on a distant planet. The end goal of the game is to escape the planet and return home. However, that goal becomes increasingly difficult to achieve as characters begin to suffer the effects of their situation. Hunger will begin to plague the crew eventually. Mental trauma from the crash will slowly seep in. Tasks will need to be completed that these researchers were never trained to accomplish. Players will have to balance all of the needs of individuals against the needs of the group as a whole. All of this set on a remote world with a hostile atmosphere. And all of that isn't even taking into account the deadly supernatural terrors that exist on the planet. Symmetry releases on February 20 for PC. View full article

  3. The stealth, action RPG Seven: The Days Long Gone has come a long way since it was announced last year. Its developer, Fool's Theory, has revealed the upcoming release date along side the various versions of the game headed to digital storefronts and a new trailer. Seven: The Days Long Gone adapts the 3D isometric perspective popular in games like Divinity Original Sin to fit stealth-action RPG gameplay. Players take on the role of Teriel, a master thief bent on making his way in a "beyond post-apocalyptic" world ruled by the Vetrall Empire. His life becomes complicated when he finds himself possessed by an ancient daemon and sent off on a mission to the prison isle of Peh. Teriel is able to use his thieving skills to climb objects and buildings in an environment littered with mysterious technology, ancient legends, and more. Each mission offers multiple paths to completion in this adventure made by a team of ex-CD Projekt Red developers. Seven: The Days Long Gone launches for PC on December 1. Customers who pre-order the game can get the exclusive Shadowhand armor set. There's also a collector's edition that comes with the Shadowhand armor, a digital artbook that contains every sketch and piece of artwork from the development process, the soundtrack by The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt composer Marcin Przybyłowicz, a map of the island of Peh, and a guidebook for the world of Seven.

  5. IMGN.PRO has announced that exploration-horror title Kholat will be available on April 24 of this year. Today is the 56th anniversary of the mysterious events upon which Kholat is based, and IMGN.PRO has released an animated video retelling the puzzling story. Kholat is based on the true events of the Dyatlov Pass Incident in which nine Russian students died under inexplicable circumstances while attempting to reach Otorten, a prime skiing location. When the location of their final campsite was found, investigators noted that their tent had been cut open from the inside and that they had all fled on barefoot into subzero temperatures, leaving all of their supplies behind, as if in terror. As the bodies were slowly recovered over the next months, coroners noted that several of the hikers had died or been injured prior to their deaths by a strange kinetic force not left by human or animal as there was no soft tissue damage. It was also noted that several of the bodies were irradiated with no discernible cause. IMGN.PRO has decided to offer up their own interpretation of these chilling events in Kholat. The game follows members of the expedition as they become involved in something much more sinister than a simple skiing trip. Kholat is narrated by Boromir, perhaps better known as actor Sean Bean. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, even the pre-alpha gameplay looks beautiful. Kholat will be released on April 24 for PC and Mac.
