This letter serves as an invitation to join the Office of Experiential Education & Civic Engagement at our annual Volunteer/Experiential Learning Fair, to be held on Tuesday, September 20th from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center. The fair will provide an opportunity for you and your agency to meet our students, faculty, and staff and make them aware of your mission and assist them in becoming more knowledgeable about the great work you do in the surrounding communities. It will also be a great time to make them aware of opportunities you have to engage them in being of service to the community.

Also as this is during an Extra Life promotional weekend, please feel free to invite your friends who like to game as well. All are welcome.
  11. We are currently working on a social event for July and will post details as soon as we have them solidified. In the meantime in August we want to have a regular social event, and then a more informal Guild Night Out event. This is essentially just an easy excuse for us to hangout together and enjoy some good times. Where? Canal Park 300 S Main St, Akron, OH 44308 When? August, 10th @ 7:05 pm General admission tickets are $5 online and are good for sections 1 & 2 in the park which will give us plenty of room to sit near one another and hangout. Also @LifeSalubrity is excited that the Doggie Brigade for Akron Children's will be making an appearance. Again we will have another event in August that is more "gaming centric" for everyone to come and hangout at, but this will still be a fine time.

  24. Just wanted to start a thread for us to bounce around ideas related to the team. One thing I think we might want to look at is possibly putting together a "packet" with flyers, a poster, buckslips, etc. that we could give to a business if they were interested in helping us spread the word. @Daddywarrbux was saying at the meeting last night that Toy's Time Forgot was interested in getting involved, so a place like that could take the packet and maybe put the stuff in their store.
