    Defend the North 2015

    until
On Oct. 24 & 25 2015, the 19th Avenue Exhibition Center will open its doors to welcome the fighting game community Defend The North (DTN2015), a major fighting game tournament.New York City consists of a diverse gaming community that has grown substantially over the previous years. As you may know, New York City is a tourist attraction and we believe that it can be a great destination for gamers who travel to these tournaments year round. DTN2015 will provide a venue that will advertise to players and spectators of all levels. Both players and spectators will have the opportunity to enjoy competitive fighting gameplay as well as additional events that will occur simultaneously. They will also enjoy the opportunity to play and watch the best of the East Coast as we try to defend our home court. New and upcoming fighting game enthusiasts will get the opportunity to enjoy our DTN after party, Costume play contest, speed tournaments, Vendor attractions and "FGC Dojo" (a class/tutor session dedicated to helping players of all levels become better players), which will provide free hourly sessions for the community to learn new and vintage games from top players in the community. DTN2015 is proud to be part of the Capcom Pro Tour! you can find all the CPT details here:http://capcomprotour.com/
  2. Thank you again to everyone that came out to visit the booth this weekend at New York Comic Con! We had an amazing turnout and at the end of the weekend, with the help of NJ and Hudson Valley, we hit 263 new sign-ups as well as plenty of new, interested supporters. Thank you so much to Mandy, Mario, Priscille, Phillip, Ann-Marie, Matt, Sam, Amaury, and Victoria who all volunteered their free time over the weekend to man the booth! You guys did an amazing job all weekend long! Thank you to both Victoria Maccone and Victoria Mann who helped secure the booth, banner and planned all of the logistics around having our participation at NYCC. If you missed the event, be sure to check out our gallery of photos from the weekend. For future events, I would encourage everyone to take as many pictures as possible and be sure to tweet out to your followers when possible including @ExtraLife4kids. I think we all learned plenty from our first major event and I hope we all feel a bit more comfortable about promoting Extra Life. We have plenty of large events coming up in the next few weeks and we still need as many volunteers as we can. All of these events are gaming related so I think we can expect a huge amount of interest from many of the attendees. If you do have the ability to donate your time to any of these events, please tell me as soon as possible! I would like to have as much of a presence as we can! Share Your Twitch Stream!

Hi All, I have been trying to tackle streaming very seriously now and would love to have some tips from some of the experts. I plan to have my first major stream this weekend (Saturday morning to be exact) and would love it if some of you wouldn't mind joining in to give me some critical feedback and maybe some tips on what I should change in my format or presentation to better capture an audience. I plan to use my stream to capture some newer indie titles that are still presently in development or recently released (Grim Dawn will be my first stream). So if you don't mind taking a few minutes this weekend, I would greatly appreciate the audience. I'm at: http://www.twitch.tv/bizarrorollins Thanks everyone!

    Introductions!

Hey all! It was good meeting you all last Wednesday for our first intro to the new Long Island/NYC guild. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you all better as we help shape the new guild. Anyways, I thought this would be a great place for us to share where we game, where we stream, where we can be followed, etc. XBox 360/XboxOne: BizarroRollins PS3/PS4/PSVita: BizarroRollins Wii/WiiU/3DS: BizarroRollins Steam: BizarroRollins Twitch.tv: Bizarrorollins Twitter: @Bizarrorollins If you would like to be added to the NYC & LI Mailing list, please fill out the New Guild Member Form.

    Steam Library

I certainly hope that I haven't paid that much, but I have been collecting these over a number of years (7 years according to Steam)

    Steam Library

Uhh.. I don't know that I should answer this question since I tend to be somewhat of a hoarder of games: I'm at 935 steam games (I'm a sucker for the indie games)
