MetaGamerScore.com adds support for Extra Life achievements

Recommended Posts

http://metagamerscore.com now have support for Extra Life achievements.

What is MetaGamerScore?

MetaGamerScore tracks achievements from different platforms (Xbox Live, PlayStationNetwork, Steam, Battle.net, etc) and merges them into one persistent score. Achievements are valued based on rarity/popularity, and there are many types of top lists to compare yourself in. There are also other achievement-community-features, such as advanced achievement comparison.

Why Extra Life?

The idea is to add an extra layer of incentive for players to participate in Extra Life, and as such help generate even more donations/participation.

How are the Extra Life achievements valued?

The value is primarily based on the rarity of the achievement and is calculated dynamically using the number of people with the game (or in this case, web community) registered. Meaning that the more Extra Life achievement hunters connect their account - the more the achievements will generally be valued.
