EA's E3 2018 press conference briefly featured Vince Zampella, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment, talking about an upcoming Star Wars game to be published by EA. The co-creator of the Call of Duty series and head of the company that created Titanfall seemed to be under some kind of order of silence about the game he said was titled "Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order" (there's probably a colon in there somewhere, but no one seems quite sure where).
We only know a scant few things about Jedi Fallen Order. First, we know that players will be able to wield a lightsaber, the weapon of the titular Jedi order. Second, Zampella said he was really looking forward to opening up about the details in about a year, so we will likely see a big information blowout when E3 2019 rolls around. Finally, the expected release date for Jedi Fallen Order is currently during the holiday season of 2019, which might be a bit sooner than some expected.
Not much to go on besides a name and some windows of time during which we might learn more, but any details about a Star Wars game by Respawn are certainly worth getting excited over.
