Moon Studios’ Ori and the Blind Forest was one of the breakout indie exclusives for Xbox One when it released in 2015. Fans of the whimsical and tough-as-nails platformer should be delighted to see that Ori's back to rescue his forest once again.
Titled Ori and the Will of the Wisps, the game didn’t have a gameplay showing, opting instead to set the mood with an emotional cinematic trailer. The forest of Nibel appears to be in peril once again, evident by violent lightning storms as areas of the lush forest are engulfed in flames. The trailer concludes with a distressed young owl being comforted by a sullen Ori as they look on at the remains of the owl’s kind.
No release date was given for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, but it is a Play Anywhere title, and is rendered in true 4K resolution. It will also be Xbox One X enhanced.
