Blizzard released info on the next adventure pack for their digital collectible card game. Players will travel to Blackrock Mountain, the home of fire and nest of dragons.
Blackrock Mountain houses an age-old feud between the dragon Nefarian and Ragnaros, the elemental lord of fire. Players will be able to face off against the leaders of the mountain, gaining cards and making progress with each victory.
Blackrock Mountain will release for PC, Android tablets, and iPad sometime in April. Each week after launch a new area of the adventure will unlock. The first area, Blackrock Depths, has already been announced, but the rest will be revealed as their unlock date approaches.
In total, Blizzard will be releasing 31 new cards with the Blackrock Mountain expansion. Like the previous release, Curse of Naxxramas, each area of the adventure will be available for either 700 in-game gold or $6.99. The entire adventure will cost $24.99. Pre-orders will begin on March 19 (only in real money, sorry folks) and will come with a nifty card back.
No official word quite yet on the exact release date in April for Blackrock Mountain, but we'll let you know as soon as we know.
