During last year's Game Awards, Dark Souls/Bloodborne developer FromSoftware gave us a tantalizing glimpse at the next project. They pulled back that curtain entirely to reveal their next action title, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
The game takes place in Japan and swaps medieval knights and Lovecraftian horrors for ninjas. Don't be fooled; there's still plenty of supernatural threats, including a massive serpent. The mysterious bone tool from the teaser is actually an artificial arm for the protagonist. This multipurpose limb can fire a grappling hook used quickly zip around or turn into an umbrella-like shield.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launches in 2019. It will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
